Ideal for managing plant cable into optical management units up to 4 incoming plant cables up to 8 transportation tubes U space mounting the compact cable manifold has been designed for use with Mainframe’s HDPe range of ODF systems. But its versatility allows its use where a high count optical plant cable requires loose tubes to be safely routed through cabinets to where they can be spliced and presented.

Up to 4 incoming plant cables of diameter between 10 and 25mm can be secured by 2 part cable clamps, extra anchoring of the cable is provided by cable central strength member support pillars. Optical fibre loose tubes are routed from the compact cable manifold through 8 x 16mm transportation tube glands fitted in one end of the unit. Each transportation tube can accommodate up to 4 x 3mm diameter loose tubes with ease.

The compact cable manifold is secured to the cabinet/frame by means of a universal fixing plate, making the compact cable manifold an extremely flexible optical plant cable management solution, for any top or bottom cabinet/frame cable entry system.

The fixing plate has mounting positions that adhere to the international ‘U’ regulations, so can be mounted into almost all standard enclosures. The unit is manufactured from 1.6mm thick steel, finished in ether a cream or grey. Access to the interior of the unit is via 4 x M3 fixings. An M6 cage nut/screw kit is supplied for securing the unit in place.

In the event that smaller form cables need to be accommodated, there is positions within the unit to secure these cables with supplied small cable ties.
