Sales Support Administrator

An immediate and exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Sales Administrator to join a leading manufacturer and supplier of bespoke data connectivity solutions to customers, mainly servicing FTTH communications, Rail and Power industries and more.
You will be providing a high quality of service to the company business customers looking after all sales orders are accurate and dispatched to meet delivery dates. The role will include raising sales orders, advising customers and clients, resolving stock and delivery issues that might arise, overseeing dispatch operations and help maintain customer satisfaction for all parties. The role is varied and works across different principles

Due to the nature of the industry this position is on-site only. You’ll be a part of a friendly team on-site, located in our offices in Southend-On-Sea.

About the Role

• The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and efficient functioning of all administrative tasks associated with order pursuit, order processing and maintaining the business processes required for the smooth operation of the Sales Department.
• Prepare quotations for customers quickly and accurately.
• Answer customer product queries where possible.
• Provide support to the Internal and Field Sales Managers.
• Reviewing orders for accuracy before Processing and entering onto our Sage X3 manufacturing system.
• Deal efficiently with inbound enquiries quickly and efficiently.
• Arranging and Providing product delivery and customer updates regarding delivery times.
• Liaising with Production Team to give accurate and detailed customer specific requirements.
• Interacting with colleagues/ customers in different countries around the globe.
• Assisting Procurement department to source materials where necessary.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• The successful candidate will be the key contact for our global sales Team.
• Technical knowledge of sales within the Communications industry would be highly beneficial.
• Internal sales office experience with a strong sales service background.
• Technical and commercial review of content under guidance where required from the relevant Sales or Territory Manager.

Experience:

• Internal sales office experience or a strong customer services background.
• Experience within part of a sales ream in a busy environment or similar.
• Confident communicator.
• Some knowledge within the Communications industry would be highly beneficial.

• Qualifications
• Educated to A level or HNC/HND with a sales or engineering/ technical discipline.

Panel Wireman

Panel Wireman Wanted!
We have worked on projects for LUL, MOD Aerospace and the Renewable Energy Sectors, so experience within these industries would be beneficial, but not a necessity. We are currently involved in the design and build of control racks for the FTTH Industry.

Day to day you will work across different stages of the build, so days will not be the same. The work week is 40hrs a week, casual dress in a friendly environment. This is a permanent position located in our facilities in Southend-On-Sea. You must be located close enough to commute to our facilities. You must have the right to work in the UK with no restrictions.

The preferred candidate should have demonstrable skills and experience in wiring bespoke cabinets and should have established skills in wiring Relay Control Racks. Neat & tidy work essential. Our ideal candidate should have at least five years’ experience from within this environment including the following;

Professional Skills Required:

• Panel Wiring and fitting customised control systems
• Prototype Communication Racks
• Wire Routing
• Crimping to IPC610 Spec.,
• Neat and Tidy Looming
• Continuity Testing
• Cable Dressing of both Fibre optic cable and Copper cabling
• Wiring and Fitting 19-inch Rack Systems
• Mechanical layout and fitting of panels
• Experience with FTTH/ FTTX desirable
